Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 19, 2026

1. Introduction

MCPizer ("we", "our", or "the App") is a macOS desktop application that functions as an MCP (Model Context Protocol) server. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.

2. Information We Collect

MCPizer does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on external servers. All data remains on your local device.

The App may store the following data locally on your Mac:

  • Cookie rules — Domain-specific cookie key-value pairs you configure for HTTP request authentication.
  • Custom MCP tool definitions — API tool configurations you create, including URLs, headers, and parameter templates.
  • Browser session data — Tab URLs from your last session (stored in UserDefaults). Web content data is stored in non-persistent (in-memory) storage and is cleared when the App quits.
  • Network and MCP logs — HTTP request/response records and MCP stdio interaction logs are stored in memory only and are cleared when the App quits.

3. Information We Do Not Collect

  • We do not collect personal information (name, email, phone number, etc.).
  • We do not use analytics, tracking, or advertising SDKs.
  • We do not transmit any data to our servers or third-party services.
  • We do not access your contacts, photos, location, or any other system resources beyond what is necessary for the App's functionality.

4. Network Requests

MCPizer sends HTTP requests on your behalf — either through the built-in browser or via MCP tool calls initiated by AI clients. These requests go directly from your device to the target servers you specify. We do not intercept, proxy through our servers, or log these requests externally.

5. Third-Party Services

MCPizer connects to external websites and APIs only when you or your AI client explicitly initiate a request. The App does not include any third-party SDKs, analytics frameworks, or advertising networks.

6. Data Security

Your data is stored locally on your Mac within the App's sandboxed container. MCPizer runs in the macOS App Sandbox with Hardened Runtime enabled, limiting access to only the resources necessary for its functionality.

7. Children's Privacy

MCPizer is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
