These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the sMLX application ("the App"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. License to Use the App

Subject to these Terms, you are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, for your personal or internal use. The App software itself is the property of the developer and is protected by copyright law.

2. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

The App uses large language models to generate text. AI-generated content may be inaccurate, incomplete, biased, outdated, or otherwise inappropriate. You are solely responsible for evaluating and verifying any output before relying on it. Do not use the App's output as a substitute for professional advice (legal, medical, financial, or otherwise).

3. Third-Party Models and Their Licenses

The App enables you to download and run third-party machine-learning models. Each model is provided by its respective owner under its own license, and your use of each model is governed by that model's license, not by these Terms. You are responsible for reviewing and complying with the applicable model license. See the Licenses page for details.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the App or any model to:

Violate any applicable law or regulation;
Generate content that infringes the rights of others;
Produce unlawful, harmful, harassing, deceptive, or abusive content;
Violate the use restrictions of any model you run.

5. No Warranty

The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free or uninterrupted.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising out of or related to your use of the App or any model output.

7. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
